1852-56 Grand Duke William III, specialized group, with 10c black, greenish black, intense black, etc., five unused singles, various shades, each with original gum. Also the unique unused block of four, with original (toned) gum; three plate proofs on card (one in blue); 43 used singles (various shades and postmarks, some in color), 3 used pairs, 3 used strips of three, 2 used strips of four (one on coverfront), used block of four, used block of six; also four singles on cover; and strip of four on cover. There are eight unused examples, each with original gum of 1sgr, including brown red, brick red, orange red, blood red, rose, carmine rose and dark carmine rose, various shades; 30 used singles (various shades and some rare postmarks), 2 used pairs, used strip of three, used block of eight (second largest multiple recorded); plus the unique cover with 10c single & pair, used in combination with 1sgr single & strip of three. Condition is truly superior throughout, all unused stamps are with original gum. A
