 | Lot #1074 THAILAND 1903 (20 Aug) picture postcard to France, initially franked on picture side with 1a green King Chulalongkorn issue, tied by small CHANTABOURI cds. Card was short paid and apparently held for five months before additional 3a stamp was added on address side, tied by large CHANTABURI 25.01.04 cds, forwarded to France, but still found to be underpaid by "3 1/2" centimes as noted in blue. Both Siamese and French "T" in triangle markings applied, plus pair of 1c black and single 5c blue France Postage Dues affixed on arrival in Dompaire, picture side also shows unusual negative seal, some card mending, otherwise fine  Catalog #75,78 | Unsold |
