1869 (25 June) cover from Ronneby to USA, 54ore rate via North German Union direct mail, paid by two 12o blue and single 30o brown Coat of Arms, front shows "4 1/2" Sgr credit to Germany, crossed out and replaced with blue "Wf 3" Sgr credit to the U.S., also partial red CHICAGO / PAID ALL / DIRECT cds and an unusual shield impression (probably applied on arrival in Chicago), Swedish transit and Kiel / Hamburg railway cancels on reverse, the 30o with a few trivial blunt perfs, otherwise fine and rare transatlantic cover (the 2x12o + 30o franking is previously unrecorded), 1908 Obermuller-Willen certificate
