The Reich Ministry of Posts announcement of 22 March stated that all mail sent to Friedrichshafen post office was to be dropped at Er Ramle, Palestine. No provision was made for collectors to send mail for the round trip (Friedrichshafen and back), hence this card is considerably scarce, if not the only one known, signed Gappe
