1928-1934 Pond & Sabelli flight, a huge archive from the estate of Cesare Sabelli, with 1928 Shipper's Export declaration filed for the attempted flight to Rome in Bellanca's plane "Roma", signed agreement between Giuseppe Mario Bellanca and Sabelli to settle the ongoing litigation over the engine failure on 1928 attempted flight to Italy; signed and unsigned photographs (400-500), newspaper clippings related to the flight, signed photo of the king given to Sabelli during the 1934 reception, signed photo of Marconi, with a 1934 dedication to Sabelli, signed photo and dedications by Balbo, log books of the various flights, correspondence with the promoter of the flight (Capt. Ugo D'Annunzio, son of the famous poet), numerous mementos of the reception in Italy, heavy navigation compass taken off the "Leonardo da Vinci" airplane, Sabelli's uniform and shoes and much more. A wonderful lot for both aviation historians and memorabilia buffs

1961 (3 Apr) registered and flown FDC from Livorno to Peru, franked with the set of three; originally the error 205L rose ("Gronchi Rosa") was covered by the 205L gray, consequently lifted and replaced (the error is unused, without gum), with Lima, Peru (April 7) arrival postmark, returned back to Livorno, with June 21, 1961 postmark, v.f. and scarce usage, with Chiavarello cert.
