 | Lot #722 BRITISH COMMONWEALTH CANADA 1861 (1 Nov) outer FL franked with 12 1/2c green, sent from Montreal to Liverpool, endorsed "per North Britain", with "Paid Liverpool Col Packet 23 Nov 61" arrival pmk in red, additional endorsements, filing folds through the stamps, otherwise fine. The "North Britain" was wrecked on Mingan Island (in the lower St. Lawrence) on 3rd November 1861.
