RUSSIA Military Mail
1918 During World War I the 10th Army was stationed on the Eastern Front where it fought against Russia. It also took part in the occupation of Poland and Belorussia at the end of 1918 when the war ended. A collection on pages, with used and unused singles, block of four, covers and cards of 30pf (10) and 60pf (14), plus a combination cover with 30pf+60pf, registered from Minsk to Petrograd, with pair of Germany 20pf ultramarine, censor seal and 19 October Wilna transit. Other usages include Lagoisk (district of Borisov), Wilenka, Bobruisk (Minsk), Baranovichi, Molodechno, Novogrodek, generally in combination with German adhesives, some with postage due markings, censor strikes, one written entirely in Yiddish and addressed to Odessa etc., usual wear and tear, some opened for display.
