1880 (15 Apr) cover franked with India 9x1/2a blue, cancelled by grids and pen, addressed to England, with Kabul departure, Bombay transit and arrival postmarks, fine usage at time of the Second Anglo-Afghan War (fought between England and the Emirate of Afghanistan from 1878 to 1880, when the latter was ruled by Sher Ali Khan of the Barakzai dynasty, the son of former Emir Dost Mohammad Khan. This was the second time British India invaded Afghanistan)
