1861 small letter to Green Co., Ohio, from Camp Dennison (Jun 26, 1863), franked with 3c rose tied by black target, with matching "Camp Dennison Miamiville" pmk. Camp Dennison, named for the governor of Ohio, was used throughout the Civil War as a general training and recruiting depot for Ohio troops. The camp also featured one of the largest hospitals of the Union Army, v.f., with 2001 PSE certificate
