1886-1895 Numerals, a beautifully prepared seven-frame (112 pages) exhibit of all three issues, comprised of only exceptional covers, stamps and proofs (Scott's 230 and 231 are not Numerals and are not included). The collection includes an impressive showing of rare proofs, with the probably unique set of 15 in lilac and red on card with oval drawn frames (also the unissued 50c, 1 and 2 pesos), plus the set of 14 cut-to-shape on India paper (similar sets of proofs of this issue sold recently between $2,000 and $5,000 at auction). There are also Specimen overprints (with “Colleccion” in lilac and “Specimen” in orange). Every section features different types of paper used for every value, with many unused blocks of four (no duplication). The most important blocks are the unique used blocks of 4 of 5 pesos (Scott's 230, with Mepsi cert, cat. $4,800 as singles) and the unused (n.h.) block of 35 of 20c dark violet (Scott's 220A, cat. $5,600 as singles). The high peso values are well represented (Nick Follansb
