1853-1864 mostly triangles, balance of a specialized collection, 110 mostly used stamps on pages, 1d red, 4d blue, 6s lilac and 1sh green, variety of colors and papers, shades, cancels, mixed condition and generally inadequate margins, faults noted, many scarce and useful items, also some later issues, varieties, imperf. 1853-1864 mostly triangles, balance of a specialized collection, 75 mostly used stamps, also 8 covers, neatly mounted and partially written up on pages, 1d red, 4d blue, 6s lilac and 1sh green, also included are nine "woodblocks" (mostly repaired). There are a few pairs, one strip of three, generally with full margins, condition varied with small faults or repairs, mostly fine appearance, also later items through 1912 with varieties noted, as well as an impressive representation of used and unused postal stationery (30+). Overall a nice collection, possibly a nucleus for expansion and further study, huge catalogue value
