 | Lot #2278 POLAND Russian Stamps used in Poland - Numeral cancels 1858 (Ruda Guzowska) 10k brown and blue, perf. 12 1/2, cancelled by pen on FL to Warszawa, departure postmark in blue, date (2/6) filled-in by pen, bilingual arrival (3/6) and "8/R" (8:00am) time stamp on back, filing folds and some tape reinforcements on backflap, stamp with minor flaws, otherwise fine and interesting item. The sender, a certain Vasily Ivanow is writing to the Department Store Lesser (Bracia Lesser) and requesting (in Polish) that his purchases be well packed (not to crack the glass) and shipped via railroad from Ruda Gozowska.
