1859 1 1/2k (98x57mm) and 3k red (141x88mm) unused stationery entire envelopes, pointed backflaps, each with reasonably detailed impression of the indicia at upper right, signed on the inside of the flaps by postal officials (Kurmanowicz and A.Bobinski), fine. On the recommendation of the Postal Administration of the Kingdom of Poland (No.26098, dated December 18, 1858), two types of prepaid postal stationery 1 1/2k and 3k values) were admitted for use in the postal area of Warsaw, from January 1859 until September 16, 1861

1859 3k red stationery entire envelope (142x86mm), slit open at top, rounded backflap, reasonably detailed impression of the indicia at upper right, cancelled "1" and addressed to Tomasz Zachorowski (son), with red "Warszawa" 6/10 on front, plus framed "3/P" arrival time on back, small wax seal on back and signed on the inside of the flap by postal officials (Kurmanowicz and A.Bobinski), fine. On the recommendation of the Postal Administration of the Kingdom of Poland (No.26098, dated December 18, 1858), two types of prepaid postal stationery 1 1/2k and 3k values) were admitted for use in the postal area of Warsaw, from January 1859 until September 16, 1861. Only about 10 used examples of the 3k red are recorded

The envelopes of this type were withdrawn from circulation in February 1st, 1865, with the re-introduction of the Russian Postal system. Genuinely used covers are scarce

As envelopes of this type were withdrawn from circulation on February 1st, 1865, this one is used a month after (!)
