 | Lot #2075 RUSSIA 1913 Romanov Tercentenary Issue 1913 1k (2), 2k and 10k paying 14k on back of a registered cover from Riga to Abo, Finland, with 9.9.14 Helsinki transit and 12.9 Abo arrival pmks, full, virtually intact wax seal and censor label on back. While the stamps are cancelled by the mute or "dumb" pmks (in the attempt to conceal the origin of the letter), the exercise is completely defeated by the Riga return address, also clearly visible on the registration handstamp  Catalog #109-10,114 | Price Realized $250.00 |
