| Lot #339 MARITIME MAIL IN THE AMERICAS MEXICO 1876-77 two FLs from Tampico or Veracruz to Bordeaux and one 1884 cover to Paris, written up on pages, first two sent in the interim period after the U.S. and France joined the GPU and before Mexico joined, each franked with 10c black; the latter franked with 12c green, showing variety of markings incl. oval "Franco en Tampico," "Etats-Unis v. Angl.Amb. Cal B," framed "Ship" (applied in New Orleans), also "Vera-Cruz Paq. Fr. B No.1," in black, plus another in red, due markings incl. "12" (decimes), "35" (due to U.S. for transit services), some toning or filing folds, fine-v.f.
