 | Lot #275 MARITIME MAIL IN THE AMERICAS ECUADOR 1871 (25 Feb) outer FL to Barcelona, paying 4/10d with 10d red brown and two 2sh blue (all plate 1) tied by oval "C41" cancels, with Guayaquil double arc departure datestamp on back, three line "Panama Transit 5 Mar" datestamp on front (steamer to Panama, train across the Isthmus), with cover put on the Royal Mail Steam Packet Co. steamer "Seine" which sailed from Colon on 7th March, with London transit (6 Apr), "PD" in circle applied, indicating postage paid to destination, minor paper lettersheet strengthening, fine, with Brian Moorhouse cert.
