1847 (15 Jan) FL from Bogota to Paris, via Santa Martha (British Post double arc postmark on back) and London to Paris, with boxed "Colonies & Art.13" accountancy and transit markings, carried on the RMSP steamer "Thames" via Jamaica, St. Thomas and Bermuda, transferring to "Medway" for Southampton, with French entry and rate markings

MARITIME MAIL IN THE AMERICAS COLOMBIA
1878 (15 June) cover originating from Barranquilla to Dominica, franked with 4d sage green (pl.16), small faults, cancelled by "F69" obliterator of Savanilla, with corresponding "Savanilla" departure cds alongside, also "Transit" straight line handstamp and "Colon Ju 20" datestamp below, "A.M. Senior & Co." merchant handstamp, with docketing on the envelope indicating arrival in Dominica on 1st July, some toning and minor flaws, otherwise fine and incredibly rare cover. While it is not known how the cover got from Savanilla to Colon, it was probably carried on the "Don," leaving Colon on 21st June and arriving at St. Thomas on the 28th. The first steamer leaving for the Lesser Antilles islands was the "Para" which departed on 30th June

No.1" maritime postmarks; also outer FL used in 1888 from Rio Hacha to Ecloo, Belgium, franked with 10c orange, "Paq Fr. Ligne A" maritime and arrival pmks, some toning, otherwise fine
