 | Lot #3224 LITHUANIA Air Post 1920-40 collection formed by Jonas Grigaliunas (co-author along with Charles Matuzas, Joseph Mulevich and Steve Ivanauskas of the "Postage Stamps of Lithuania"), mounted old-fashion style on 62 pages, with hundreds of used and unused exhibitable stamps, proofs and essays, errors and varieties (as listed in the handbook), plus 33 covers and cards. Highlights include 1920 issue, selection of 27 imperf. plate proofs in various colors; 1921 Allegory of Flight proofs (total of 39 including an incredible total of nine se-tenant pairs with reversed inscriptions), also unadapted essays (nine different, plus a sheetlet of six); 1922 Triangles, with shifted and omitted overprints, imperf. varieties, proofs (4); 1922 imperf. trial color proofs (6); surcharges with different varieties; 1924 six different proofs, numerous horizontal and vertical pairs imperf.
