 | Lot #528 HUNGARY 1872 (Engraved), two folded letters sent by the lawyer Dimitrovic and used locally in Kubin, one franked with entire 2kr orange, plus lower half bisect, torn by hand, tied by "Kubin 30/9" pmk, addressed to Armen Sarmech, paying 3kr rate; the other cover addressed to Josa Wischincsky but franked with normal 3kr green, all with filing folds and some toning, with copy of the "Kubin Bisects" by Ferenc Orban (No.3 and No.17 of his report) The Kubin post office did not have 3kr stamps which were required for local correspondence, most of the bisects (about 15 known) were torn by hand  Catalog #7b,8 | Price Realized $2,800.00 |
