HUNGARY Newspaper Stamps
1871 (1kr) vermilion red, vertical strip of three, margins all around, close but clear at top, with a portion of adjoining stamp at bottom, tied by "Papa-Teszer" 23/7/71 postmarks on piece, little overall ageing, otherwise fine. This is the largest known used multiple of this stamp, with 1994 Gabor Visnyovszki certificate stating that this item is unique and one of the greatest rarities of Hungarian philately ( "Unikat, eine der grossten Raritaten der ungarischen Philatelie"), illustrated in "Monografia III", page 353, photo 246 (Mi.7b)

A prominent Hungarian rarity, one of the largest known multiples, illustrated in volume III, page 446 of "Monografia"
