| Lot #110 DANZIG 1920 5m slate and carmine, both center and "Danzig" overprint Inverted, a highly select example of this important German area rarity, marvelously bright and fresh, gorgeous prooflike colors and impressions on crisp paper, well centered, lightly hinged, fine. Only one sheet of 20 was discovered with both the center and overprint inverted. One can argue that in this case, it is the frame which is inverted, hence both the center vignette and overprint are correctly positioned to one another. Very few stamps from this sheet exist, signed Ebel and Stern, with 2004 Oechsner certificate (Mi. 15BK1) * Catalog #15a Catalog Value €18,000 | Unsold
