 | Lot #78 CHILE 1916 Bernardo O'Higgins, 10c blue and black, type III, center inverted, usual centering, small h.r., tiny thin and faint trace of toning, mentioned for accuracy only, with 2009 Philatelic Foundation Certificate. There was a third printing (type III) from a new plate, with redesigned frame ("E" of "CHILE" joined, upper point of left star open and outside oval is complete); inverted centers from this plate are unknown except for the example offered here, which is believed to be unique, and unlike the inverted centers from the type II plate the centering on this stamp is much better, being just slightly centered to top.
