 | Lot #7501 GERMAN STATES Saxony 1850 3pf brick red, plate II, position 11, neat "Leipzig 29.Jul" cancel, full margins all around including dividing lines at top and right, with "dot" under "S" in "Sachsen" variety, beautiful color and fresh, signed Their, M. Kurt Maier and Calves, with clear 2003 Eichele cert. which identifies this as the better cherry red color ("echt und einwendfrei"); also with 2009 Tilo Rismondo certificate which mentions a small thin (we cannot see it) and identifies the stamp as being the red color ("unten ausserhalb des markenbildes ist eine kleine behandelte stelle, farbfrisches, sehr andprechendes stuck").
