| Lot #1333 UKRAINE Military Stamps 1920 Courier Field Post Issue, 10hr-40hr surcharges, the complete set of 15, mostly plated and signed "Fischer Wien", fine-v.f. The last major attempt by Ukrainian forces to regain control of their country was in June 1920, when a combined Ukrainian and Polish Army invaded from Poland and captured Podolia, Volhynia and part of Kiev Govts. The Bolsheviks counter attacked and finally, on 21st November, Petlura and the remnants of the Ukrainian Army crossed into Poland, where they were interned.
