 | Lot #437 FRANCE 1870 Bordeaux, 40c orange, right half tied by "1140" large numerals postmark on small cover (with letter enclosed) from Fondamente (a small village on the right bank of the Sorgues) to Montpellier, with Cornus (31 Dec) departure postmark below, backstamped (4 Jan 71) on back, fine. The stamp is quite fresh, with ample margins all around, close but well clear at top, cover is signed by Roumet, Calves, with 2009 cert.
