1843 4r black, type II, well defined red vertical lines, margins all around, horizontal pressed out crease, tied by black rosette and red "Zurich 11 1 45" double circle, on back of a small envelope (front defective with tears and abrasions) addressed to Fraulein L. Ott, with "Neumunster 1 Jan 1845" departure pmk in black, charged "4" by the mail carrier who did not see the franking on back. A v.f. example of this rarity on a small cover, with 1999 von der Weid certificate stating that this is practically unique franking (another known on letter from Geneva), (Zumstein 1S) (Mi.1/I)
