 | Lot #1619 RUSSIAN LOCALS (ZEMSTVO) 1866-1919 Akhtyrka-Zolotonosha, a four-volume collection on pages, 6,000+ mostly different, arranged in order (Schmidt), with numbers penciled in, shades, errors and varieties, types clearly identified, some proofs and essays, tete-beche and couche (35+), se-tenant strips, occasional pairs, blocks of four and larger multiples, stationery entire envelopes (85) and cut-squares (not counted), one cover, dozens of additional revenues, officially sealed labels. There are "R" and possible "RR" stamps included, with reprints and other reference material noted. An extraordinary collection formed many years ago, with a number of pages from the Baughman collection.
