1917 (Mar 14) Mozambique Company stationery card used by a prisoner in the camp at "Macequece" to a repatriated comrade in Hamburg, with hexagonal Macequece pmk partly covered by Geneva transit (28.7), also Lourenco Marques Provincial Red Cross, Portuguese censor at Beira and the International Committee of the Red Cross Service des Prisonniers de Guerre handstamps, with "Exempte" (from postage) etiquette. The message is written in English, undoubtedly for the benefit of censor ("I'm sending a card only as it probably will have a speedier expedition as a letter")

1917 two pre-printed postal cards for use by POWs in the Lourenco Marques Camp, one with an oval camp handstamp, Provincial Red Cross and "Porte Franco" cachet, also the International Committee of the Red Cross Service des Prisonniers de Guerre handstamped in Geneva, plus a German censor hs, the other to Amsterdam, with arrival pmk, showing that prisoners were allowed only a bare minimum of information about themselves
