Lot #1586 RUSSIA Air Post Officials 1922 1,200m on 50k, overprint type V, (length of the "P.C.F.C.P." is 32,9 mm, the letter "C" is almost closed) position 13, h.r., well centered, handstamped guarantees on back include Romeko, Mikulski & two others, v.f., with 1985 Mikulski cert., Only two sheets of the 50 kopeck value (50 stamps) are known to have been surcharged. Type V occurs only once per sheet and only two exist (the other example resides in a well-known prominent collection of RSFSR). As such, this is truly one of the most important rarities of Russian Airpost & the highlight RSFSR philately.
