1866 Maximilian, 13c blue (lithographed), Mexico overprint, block of 49 (7x7) unused with original gum, h.r., folded vertically and horizontally between stamps, creases, mostly between stamps, fine-v.f. When the "Eagle" issue was demonetized, a short run of only 5,106 Maximilians 13c were printed, with the name "Mexico," without consignment number, to be exchanged for "Eagles" still in the hands of postal customers. This is the second largest recorded multiple, ex-Edward Dormer collection

All denominations except the 5p and 10p blue green are included, with large blocks, unused stamps, every denomination with a section of selected difficult and beautiful cancels, several combination frankings with the 1874 and 1878 issues, registered mail, imperforate varieties including one pair on cover, specimens, proofs, nice section of the elusive early district overprints (Chiapas, Etzatlan, Saltillo, Tehuantepec, Maravatio, Soyaniquilpam), bisects, double printings, a cancelled block of 40x2 pesos (remainder cancel, but nevertheless rare), many covers with attractive pmks, substantial value (two first pages alone catalogue $1,350 in Scott's)

1886-95 Large Numerals, collection of more than 500 mostly different stamps, blocks and 50+ selected covers (3 postcards to foreign destinations including Singapore, Paraguay and Stockholm) also 2-3 fronts, neatly mounted on 72 exhibition pages. Almost all Scott listed items are included (except 5p and 10 peso denominations and a few others), with the rare perf. 6 and 6:12 (used set), as well as blue lined paper of 1887, 20c lilac used and unused, rare blocks of four etc, some n.h. including an impressive block of 40 (Scott's No. 234, catalogue value $1,600 for hinged). The postal stationary section includes several rare 3c official usages, registered mail and five registered judiciary fronts with better rates (owner’s cat. $9,000+ for stamps alone, without premium for n.h. and centering)
