1850 6kr brown, hand-paper, type Ib, block of six, margins all around except just in at lower right, tied by "Tarnow" 21.9. cds on registered cover to Lemberg, with additional single added on reverse, paying 42kr rate, horizontal filing fold affecting the bottom strip of the block, also little toning at lower left, fine and impressive franking, with 1980 Ferchenbauer cert. (catalogue value for a used block of six, without any consideration for cover or additional franking)

1919 Parliament, 20kr violet gray & lilac brown, center inverted, neat postmark (Wien) and well centered, excellent colors, with usual irregular perforations at bottom, slightly improved at left, otherwise v.f., one of the finest of the less than 15 known, with 2010 Rudiger Soecknick cert. which confirms that practically all known examples of this great Austrian rarity have defective perforations (they were carelessly torn by hand) (Mi.291D)
