 | Lot #665 GERMAN COLONIES Marshall Islands 1897-99 Jaluit Issue, 3pf reddish ochre, used in combination with 10pf (horizontal gutter selvage at bottom) and 20pf on registered cover addressed to Bamberg (Bavaria), tied by "Jaluit Marshall Inseln 22.11.00" cds (the cancellation with "SH" in "Marshall" was first used on 21.5.00 and is far scarcer than the "Marschall" cancel), registration number applied in red pen, with Bamberg 21.4.01 arrival. The only known example of 3pf red ocher on cover, with 1995 Steuer cert.
