1910 Ponape Provisional Issue, right half of 20pf ultramarine, tied on cover by "Ponape 12.7.10" (First Day) pmk, with official negative postal seal alongside, stamp with tiny abrasion, minute cover toning, otherwise v.f., with 1995 Dr.Lantelme cert. ("tadelossem zustand"). Due to shortage of 10pf stamps, the postmaster resorted to bisecting the existing stock of 20pf stamps to be used by sailors during the visit of the Imperial Fleet in Ponape (Mi.II)
