1800-1950 postal history, seven cartons with 7,500+, ranging from stampless covers, cards, picture postcards, postal stationery, with usages from every corner of the Russian and Soviet empires, Erevan to Sakhalin, Russian Europe and Asia, with occasional Offices in China and Turkish Empire, Poland, Moldavia, Transcaucasian Republics, Baltic countries, WWI and WWII censor markings, RSFSR including inflation issues, early and later air post, better pre-WWII Soviet frankings, both commemorative and regular issues, some incoming mail from various foreign countries, unusual destinations and combination frankings, virtually every single item acquired individually, many years ago, usually for a specific reason, some with a cost of up to $100, various explanatory notes, plus occasional foreign items, Latvia, Lithuania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and many others.
