1905 Postal Strike during the December Revolution, a registered cover from Samarkand, Russian Turkestan, delayed for two weeks with ms "All Post Offices closed for two weeks, letter sealed and mailing Dec. 13", forwarded to Moscow where 20k franking was postmarked and sent via New York to Washington D.C., with transit and arrival cancels, also 4k stationery card (6.12) from Wesenberg, Estonia (text refers to postal strike) via the auxiliary postal service run by Heinrich Jung from Eydtkuhnen to Berlin
