1930 "Miss Columbia", 50c on 36c green, two singles and a horizontal pair, comprising all four positions of the setting, singles l.h., pair n.h., fine-v.f., signed Diena, Sanabria, L.W.C. etc. This stamp derives its name from the monoplane "Miss Columbia", piloted by Capt. Errol Boyd & Lt. Harry Connor, which made the trip from Harbour Grace to Croydon Airport, London. Only 300 were issued and at least 100 were used,
