1943 picture postcard franked with 50c "Imperiale" with red "Badoglio" signature, unissued overprint, tied by "Napoli Vagglia & Risparmi" 10.12.43 cds (this cancellation was used for about three months after the Germans destroyed the Central Post Office), addressed locally, censored with a violet handstamp alongside, v.f., with several certificates including 1993 Raybaudi, with photocopies of the article where this card is illustrated. The red Badoglio signature type overprint was not issued and this is the only known example used on cover or card
