POLAND Polish Offices in Turkish Empire
1919 "Levant", overprinted in dark carmine, collection of 295 stamps, of which 163 are unused, with 3f (15), 5f (14), 10f (14), 15f (14), 20f (14), 25f (16), 50f (14), 1M (8), 1.50M (13), 2M (14), 2.50M (14) and 5M (13), with many never hinged pairs and blocks of four. There are 11 complete used sets (132 stamps), with matching singles and pairs cancelled on pieces (different types of Poczta Polska Konstantynopol 1920 cds), plus two sets of blocks of four. A wonderful holding of these elusive stamps, with varieties and types clearly identified, also plate flaws, occasional toning as always, mostly fine-v.f., ex-Mikulski (catalogue value does not include premium for never hinged, or varieties) (Mi.1-12)
