 | Lot #303 UNITED STATES Guam 1900 Special Printing, 1c-10c, also 50c and $1, horizontal pairs, mostly l.h., 1c and 50c thin (one stamp each), few perf. separations, generally fine, with clear 1974 PFCs, signed "special surcharge" in pencil (for authentication purposes) by J.M. Bartels. Only one pane of 100 stamps (for each value) were prepared for display at the Paris and Pan-American Expositions, of which most were handstamped "Specimen".
