1802 (?) envelope from Volochysk to Zydyczyn, showing a good example of boxed Tarnopol transit hs in capital Cyrillic letters, v.f. The Tarnopol district was given to Russia by Napoleon in 1801 and returned to Austria in 1815. This is the only known example of the "Tarnopol" postmark from the Russian period of administration
