RUSSIA NUMBER ONE
1857 10k brown & blue (defective), used in combination with 1866 Issue 1k black & yellow and 3k black & green ("V" in background error) on small piece, all cancelled by oval "S.P.B." of St.Petersburg, showing part of red departure cds at bottom. The first stamp of Russia was valid for postage until 1881. This is probably the latest known usage (ca.1871), unique combination (applied because the 10k was defective (small piece missing at bottom, etc.) prior to usage, ex-Faberge, with Mikulski certificate
