 | Lot #2930 YEMEN 1926 2 1/2b black, 2 1/2b black on orange, used in 1928 from Col. A. Corazzini in Yemen, paying internal postage and sent via Italian Eritrea where local postage was added for further transmission to Bologna, where the cover arrived 3.4.1928. Yemen stamps are partly covered by the Eritrea adhesives, with Massaua registration label at bottom. Letters from Yemen to overseas destinations were required to have additional stamps of a UPU country, with Holcombe cert  Catalog #1-2 | Price Realized $7,000.00 |
