 | Lot #163 RSFSR Local Issues - Smolensk 1922 handstamped 7,500r on 250r block of four (cut in at bottom right), used together with Imperial 2k green (paying 2,000, thus the proper 50,000r rate), on back of a newspaper wrapper (addressed to "Izvestia"), sent from Mozyr 22.7.22 to Moscow, with 28.7.22 arrival pmk. The wrapper was torn on opening, damaging two stamps of the block plus the 2k, still fine appearance and unusual usage  Catalog #MH1 | Price Realized $675.00 |
