| Lot #1110 LARGE LOTS & COLLECTIONS GERMAN WORLD WAR II OCCUPATION ISSUES 1933-42 collection of 650+ covers relating to the German WWII Naval ships, with correspondence from various battleships incl. the "Bismarck", "Tirpitz", "Gneisenau", "Scharnhorst", "Emden", "Nuremberg". "Graf Spee" (letter from a crew member interned at Isla Martin Garcia in Argentina) and others, also a good showing of U-boat covers and more, many interesting "Feldpost" and censor markings, with mail to and from various vessels. Most are mounted on pages with corresponding photographs and expertly written up, with detailed schematics, operational maps, history, some picture postcards (including color), excellent condition, generally fine-v.f.
