| Lot #2469 RUSSIA Flight Covers 1930 (11.1) registered and flown cover from Ulan Bator, Mongolia (via Verkhneudinsk where the Cyrillic "Vozdushnaya Pochta" was applied) to Harbin, paying 80m, charged 50c postage due on arrival in China, with 10c, 2x20c dark blue added (on reverse) in Harbin, some cover stains and flaws, otherwise fine and rare, with Holcombe cert.. This cover was carried on the Ulan Bator-Verhneudinsk route soon after outgoing air mail was permitted (late 1929). From there, the letter passed by rail to Chinese Eastern Railroad to Harbin
