The Sardinian stamp is just cut in at left and partially covered by the Italian stamp. An attractive mixed franking combination, with 1970 Diena, 1977 and 1991 Raybadi certificates

1928 "Emanuele Filiberto" 30c green & brown, center inverted, unused with full original gum, usual centering, with tiny brown offset of center at left, fine example of this rarity. Only one sheet of these inverts was sold at the post office in Bologna. The buyer did not notice the error and placed majority of the stamps on a parcel. Most of the stamps were thus used; only two (!) exist with full original gum (see footnote in Sassone where the price is listed for one of the two values with gum), signed Diena, Raybaudi, Sorani, etc. (Sass. 228a)
