1919 July 12 Trans-Atlantic (second attempt) flight by pilots Raynham and Morgan, cover franked with $1 on 15c, canc. "St.John's July 12, 1919" and addressed to England. Only 85 covers were prepared for this flight, which crashed on take-off. The mail was taken by Capt. Raynham via steamship and delivered to London postal authorities, with Jan.7, 1920 arrival, minor toning and cover folds, fine and very rare, with Diena cert.

1930 1930 "Miss Columbia", 50c on 36c green, well centered, l.h., v.f., signed Sanabria, etc. This stamp derives its name from the monoplane "Miss Columbia", piloted by Capt. Errol Boyd & Lt. Harry Connor, which made the trip from Harbour Grace to Croydon Airport, London. Only 300 were issued and at least 100 were used (SG 191)
