 | Lot #5210 FAR EASTERN REPUBLIC Air Post 1923 20k on 35k on 2k green, tied by Vladivostok 28.7.23 postmark on cover headed Paul P. Stankoff, addressed to Spassk (190km away), with "Spasskoye Prim. 5.9.23" arrival cds struck on back of the cover, with "Vozdushnaya Pochta" and "polucheno 7/8/ 11:45" (received 7 August at 11:45 a.m.) in manuscript, part of the backflap missing, with Mikulski cert. Paul Stankoff was the regional postmaster and was instrumental in arranging for these special surcharges.
