 | Lot #3002 RUSSIA 1856 10kop za lot, surface printed essay in blue, Mercury type, cut to shape and affixed on entire envelope (138x107mm), tied by albino impressed trial cancellation of a hollow star surrounded by concentric rings of dots. While the envelope has some toning and surface flaws, the essay itself is very fine. A wonderful Imperial rarity, one of only two known in this color, ex-Faberge, with Mikulski certificate (a similar item was sold by at Cherrystone March 2007 "Denisenko" sale for $80,500, including buyer's premium) E | Price Realized $80,000.00 |
