1866 Cover from Mexico City, 29 November to Paris, franked with 50c green (Maximilian), sent per "Eider" to St. Thomas and "Shannon" to Southampton, with typical Anglo-French exchange markings, rated "30" (decimes), 1st January, 1867 arrival, some cover mending, otherwise fine, red London cds on back. A great rarity, fewer than a dozen foreign mail covers with Maximilian Issues are known

1867 FL from Barracaldo, Uruguay, 19 September to San Andres Tuxtla, with 2sh 11d (pairs of 1sh green and 4p orange, plus single 3p, all with small faults) paid at the British Post Office in Montevideo, October 30th, sent by steamer to London (December 3rd), then per "Atrato" to St. Thomas (December 16) and per "Danube" to Veracruz, arriving December 27th, with "2" reales due, fine cover from Uruguay via London to Mexico

1866 "Corps Expeditionaire Mexique" - Mobile Post Offices, Bureaus "A" through "M", served the French Army in Mexico during the Intervention. The rate for ordinary letters carried on French ships was 20 centimes; on British ships, 50 centimes. A Bureau "A" cover to Paris, carried by British ships ("V. Angl." cds): "Eider" to St. Thomas (October 12) and "Shannon" to England, double rate (1fr) paid to destination ("P.D.") with French 20c and 2x40c cancelled "CEM A" in Lozenge, arriving October 30th, with both black and red cds, fine and attractive cover, signed Goebel
